Illinois Center for Autism is a not-for-profit, community based, mental health treatment and educational agency dedicated to serving people with autism.
Our organization consists of three Programs. The Illinois Center for Autism's (ICA) Special Day School Program is Illinois State Board of Education approved and offers year round educational programming to students between the ages of 3 and 21 diagnosed with autism, cognitive disabilities, specific learning disabilities, speech-language impairments, emotional disabilities, other health impairments and developmental delays.
The Illinois Center for Autism's (ICA) Client/Family Support Program provides advocacy, education, and support to individuals with ASD and their families. The services provided are respectful of cultural structures and values, these may include but are not limited to race, cognitive ability, ethnicity, social and/or economic status, living arrangements, sexual preferences, age, gender and/or religion.Illinois Center for Autism's Adult Services Program facilitates vocational skills training, independent living skills, transportation training and recreational and leisure activities for adults with ASD. This program provides communication skills support, social skills training, and supportive employment services.
